Asparagus season

Also ask for our daily recommendation!

Now it´s time for asparagus - the noblest of all vegetables.

Asparagus was already cultivated in the 16th century, at that time as a vegetable of the nobility - that is why the spears are still called white gold today. Until the 19th century, only green asparagus was known, which is not protected from sunlight by soil and thus develops a strong green colour.

You can find it as cream soup, salad, risotto, quiche or the classic hollandaise style in our menu.

Enjoy your meal!
